Memory Effect: GPS Music via TS Wireless

Today saw the first implementation of generative streams, live re-composing ambient sound pieces over TS Wireless. Memory Effect is an emergent series of compositions derived from GPS coordinates and anecdotal sonic references to a sense of "place" and one's temporal relationship to scalable references as marked out by GPS receivers and the satellites they receive data from. <img src="http://www.toysatellite.org/justina/photo/2002-07/20020713-maitsrest09.jpg" width=393 height=288 border="1" alt="GPS in action"> Memory Effect is composed by Andrew Garton in collaboration with GPS archivist, Justina Curtis.
